Equipping Our Developers with Technical Know-How of Salesforce Lightning

When Salesforce made the switch from Salesforce Classic to Salesforce Lightning, several things changed — the platform’s interface, features and functionalities.

To equip developers and consultants with technical knowledge of how the new platform works, a two-day workshop was organised by Salesforce Asia Pacific Partner Practice Development.

A few of Lava Protocol’s very own developers, Dzarief Rahman, Md Sharil Aswad Azaman, Steven Lee and Amiruddin Marzuki, attended the highly informative session held in Singapore from Nov 27-28.

There were hands-on lab experiences, technical discussions, and step-by-step guidance to provide an interactive and engaging learning session.

The following were the items they went through at the workshop:

  • Lightning Platform Overview
  • Lightning App Builder
  • Lightning Components
  • Lightning Design System
  • Lightning Base Components
  • Lightning Data Service
  • Lightning Locker Services
  • Lightning Out
  • Lightning Testing Service
  • Best Practices
