On the 19th of November, Lava Protocols in collaboration with Salesforce, hosted a session outlining to universities how CRM can bolster Student enrollment.

The event, held in Sheraton Petaling Jaya, started off with a hearty breakfast welcoming session. The attendee count peaked at 37.

The session began with Lava and Salesforce’s journey together, galvanizing Customer Success in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This was followed by insights into the education sector, and a customer experience sharing session.

The event then moved on to address the digital transformation of student’s enrollment process through Salesforce and Pardot. Lava’s contributions as a Salesforce consultancy, with over a decade of experience in the education sector, positions it well as an influencer of technological solutions to drive customer experience and Salesforce customers.

Malaysia’s private education sector has worked its way from shaping the minds of locals to being one of the preferred destinations for higher education. With no shortage of potential student recruits, we’ve come to realize that the problems are because of technological infrastructure (or the lack of a well-designed one).

COMMON PROBLEMS FACED BY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTES

  • Missed Inquiries
Multiple points of communications with multiple counselors makes keeping track of every potential lead difficult and even results in mix-ups.
  • Engagement Points of Recruits are Invisible
This makes it hard to allocate or justify marketing funds since you can’t say for sure which campaigns performed best.
  • Poor Student Life-cycle Management
Nothing says you’re appreciated more than personalized interactions but manually checking-in on every student, at every stage requires a lot of bandwidth which you may lack.

Whilst we continue to enhance value to our customers and our team’s technology capability, it was a great opportunity to organize an event that brought together several key scholastic stakeholders together. We look forward to further engaging with them closely in the near future.
